Terms of Service

By accessing RoastMe (the "Service") or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).

RoastMe generates humorous text ("roasts") from information you provide. Output is automated and may be wrong, offensive within the product's comedic intent, or unsuitable for you. You use the Service at your own discretion. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your login email secure. Notify us promptly at help@roastme.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe under the prices shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Settings or via Stripe customer portal where available. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable for partial periods — contact us if billing is incorrect and we will investigate.

You represent that you have the right to submit text or images you upload. You grant RoastMe a non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display your inputs solely to operate the Service (including safety checks and generation). You retain ownership of your original materials. Do not submit illegal content or third-party private data you are not entitled to share.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROASTME AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
